Tis the season for planning and planting gardens.
I LOVE gardens.
To me, there is something so peaceful, serene, and healing about them.
I could seriously work in the garden all day.
I guess I just have a thing for dirt and sunshine.
Last year I didn't get to take full advantage of our garden because I had a new baby and I was a little out of it.
This year I plan on using our garden to it's full potential.
I am sooooo excited for fresh heirloom tomatoes, fragrant herbs, grilled squash and zucchini, and juicy strawberries.
I haven't yet decided what else I want to plant, but those ones definitely make the cut.
The heirloom tomato plants are currently residing in little starter pots on our kitchen windowsill.
I couldn't resist taking a few pictures (my other great love) of those beautiful little guys.
The only thing I don't like about starting plants from seed is the fact that I have to pick just one to use...
You know how you plant three seeds and only one in the pot makes the cut?
That is soo hard for me!
I want them all to live!
I just think of how it's a living thing and it just sprouted to life and it has so much beautiful potential and here I am cutting off it's life support before it even has a chance...
It makes me soo sad!
Haha yes I'm kind of a sensitive person.
Anyway
I love gardens. :)
What are your garden plans?
I wish I had the same attitude about gardens, sad to say that I dont tho. Glad you like our home, and I miss you too! Yes it would be nice to live closer, maybe one day, but not in Moses. Never again. Im like my Mother-in-Law about that. I like the city enough to be able to do shopping, but not live in the city. We are hoping for an internship in Seattle. But not for a little while. And if that goes well, would somewhere in Seattle be close enough? lol By the way, I know Ive said this before, but your baby Eli is sooo cute! and looks like you! I knew you would make good looking babies!!!
