Yesterday we took a Sunday drive with Papa and Grammy.
We went to the dairy to check on the cows and make sure nothing had gone amiss during the day.
Eli hadn't been to the dairy since he was like 2-3 months old.
So we decided to let him take a look at the cows up close and personal.
These calves are bottle fed so they were pretty excited to see us.
Poor Eli reached his hand a little too close and even got tasted...
The calf thought he'd go in for another taste but Eli shunned that idea.
Haha notice him ignoring the calf in the last two pictures?
That's when the calf decided to breastfeed from Martin...
Hahaha oh how I wish I would have gotten a picture of that.
You can see the calf going in for the kill in the last picture.
We decided watching the cows from the car was a better option.
We saw a rooster and Martin wished he had his shotgun with him.
I'm glad he didn't.
Then my little sweetheart took a nap while we drove around the countryside.
I could just kiss that sweet little face :)
cute sleeping baby!! ohhh i could kiss those cheeks too!
ReplyDeleteCute new blog Chelsea! Eli is just the sweetest, most calm little boy. I loved your april fools trick, you are SO stinkin talented! I think I recognize your mom. Is she in 2nd ward? I remember an amazing lady who made candy for our Halloween carnival in 2009...if not, oops:) And I must say, I LOVED your chocolates for Valentines Day. HOpe you guys have a fun Easter.
ReplyDeleteHeather- Thank you! You're so sweet! I'm glad you liked the chocolates :) and yes, my mom is in 2nd ward. She was the one who helped the mia maids put on that Halloween Carnival :) I'm lucky to have such a talented mother to teach me all her skills!
