A little of everything...

My last post was in September but it feels like it's been longer than that...
Here's what we've been up to since then:

October

Martin and I carved pumpkins together for the very first time. I guess we just didn't feel like the mess was worth it for our first few Halloweens together...

The only way we could get Eli to sit with the pumpkins and take a picture was to let him watch a movie on the ipad at the same time. Unfortunately, although he sat by the pumpkins, he still wouldn't look up at the camera.

We went to Utah over Halloween weekend for baby Kruz's blessing and got to
hang out with family for a few days.
It was so fun to see everyone, and awesome that the little cousins got to go trick or treating together.
We went to the mall and out to lunch while we were there and Eli and Grace loved running around outside the mall while Grandma and Megan shopped.

Grace, Eli and Kruz dressed up as characters from Tangled for Halloween and they were sooo cute!
Sadly, this was the best picture I got of all three of them... haha they were all pretty excited to have their picture taken... I literally laugh out loud every time I see Grace's face in this pic :) Haha.

November

Would you believe it if I said I only took 4 pictures in the whole month of November?
For real.
And the only one with people in it isn't even in focus.
Good one Chelsea.
This picture is from Thanksgiving at my parent's house. We had ham instead of turkey and it was an excellent decision. Dinner was YUM.

December

At the beginning of the month we had a day with pretty nice weather and took some family pictures for our Christmas card. (Thanks again Sara!)

In December Eli began to show an unquenchable thirst for all things "Cars".
This kid eats, sleeps, and breathes that movie. Notice the pjs, the toys, the movie, and the fact that he climbed on top of the table the tv is on because he just couldn't get close enough. His favorite word to say is... any guesses? That's right, "Cars".

Christmas was wonderful. We got to spend time with both of our families.
We bought Eli a basketball hoop, a GIANT teddy bear, some matchbox cars, and play food.
Lucky for us he loved them all :)

January

So far this month has been delightful. Theryn and Chantelle came to visit this last weekend and we had lots of fun :) I'm so glad they came!!

One of the nights they were here the whole family went bowling.

Martin has good form...

I have not so good form... haha

Gavin and Dad

Love my parents! They're too cute!

The newlyweds...

We wouldn't want Theryn to make a normal face or smile at the camera or anything... haha

Eli and Grandma

So, long post short, we have had a great few months and we are happy and healthy and looking forward to all that the new year brings :)
