Fair week is a special time where we live.
All the "variaties" of people the town has to offer come out in throngs.
Haha seriously the best part of the fair is people watching.
Just saying :)
Martin and Eli and I went on tuesday and lucky for us it was free in honor of the fair's 100th birthday.
(can you believe it?? 100 years. Little ol' Grant County...)
We looked at the animals...
(Do you see this chicken!?!? It's a beast!! Not kidding, the picture doesn't do it ANY justice. This thing was SCARY.)
And ate some fair food...
And played some games because according to Martin you cannot leave the fair without a prize :)
(Haha looks like the druggie banana face was rubbing off on Martin in this pic)
Luckily for me he didn't win a big prize because if he had I would have been going home with a lifesize version of the Jamaican banana... Haha and I'm afraid I just would not have been able to find room in our house for one of those ;)
As simple as it was it was one of those nights that at the end of I was just so happy to have my little family.
I love to see Martin and Eli together, and I love both of their enthusiasms for life.
Being there with the two of them I felt so blessed!
I am so thankful for my family!
