So, we went camping with Martin's side of the family over the 4th of July.
And it was beautiful.
Perfect camping weather.
We went to Ohanapecosh up by Mt. Rainier.
There are tons of huge trees so it's super shaded, which I think we all loved except Mom.
Haha she was seeking out the sunshine in empty camp spots so she could sun bathe :)
Our spot had a little creek running through the back of it, which was awesome because it gave the kids something to do.
There was even a big fallen tree that went across the creek, so all of us got to practice our balancing skills :) Grace even got brave enough to walk without holding anyones hand.
There were some great hiking trails that we went on.
The first one we took lead to a sweet waterfall.
The kids were totally troopers the whole way!
Bub could barely stay awake in the baby carrier...
And eventually passed out. :)
Kyndra decided the "hot spring" wasn't very hot.
And Riley tried to give Kyndra a heart attack by climbing on some fallen trees.
Notice her hand reaching out to stop him :)
Grammy was the troll under the bridge for a minute :)
And eventually we made it to the falls.
Somewhere along the lines Eli went from wearing a Mariners hat to wearing a hello kitty hat...
Haha.
The other hike we went on lead to the grove of the patriarchs.
It takes you to see some really awesome old trees.
They are huge.
On the trail along the river...
I spy Eli, do you?
Sisters!
Siblings!
There is a really cool tree on the trail that fell over and you can climb up inside it...
Martin's arms didn't quite make it around...
Climbing...
We also had lots of time to relax at camp, hang out, and play games.
So glad everyone was able to go with us!
