When Theryn comes to visit...

When Theryn comes to visit he never fails to have a fun new game for the family to play.

It's something I personally look forward to every time we get together. 

When everyone was here for the wedding, Theryn taught us how to play

 "Grizzly" and "Commander & Tank" 

At least I think that's what he called them...

Anyway they were super fun. 

And they resulted in some super fun pictures :)

In Grizzly, there is one person in the middle, tied to a tree, who is the grizzly.

The object is to protect your pile of sticks from everyone as they try to steal them from you without getting tagged.

For some reason all the really funny pictures were the ones from when Karl was the grizzly... :)

Hahaha oh they make me laugh.

The Commander & Tank game was a good husband wife game.

To play, we sectioned off a rectangle in the yard, and marked it with a rope all around.

The teams were made of two people, and one person would stand outside the rectangle, and be the commander, and the other person would stand inside the rectangle, blindfolded, and be the tank.

The tank would have to follow the directions of the commander and find balled up socks that were scattered randomly in the playing area, and then throw them at the other blindfolded tanks to get them out. This was also a good one for some laughs :)

Sadly, everyone was out except for Karl and Courtney before I could get pictures. 

But those two had a good show down!

I wish everyone lived closer so we could get together more often! 

It's always so much fun to see everyone and play together! :)
