Eli is fascinated with wheels.
I would venture to say that they're his favorite thing to play with or look at.
It doesn't matter if they're big or small,
still or moving.
He just loves wheels.

The wheels on the jogging stroller...
The wheels on the vacuum...
The wheels on the dirt-bike...
The wheels on Dad's truck...
The wheels on the grill...
etc. etc. etc.
Forget toys for his birthday.
I think we're just gonna get him a bunch of wheels.
so great! what a boy! if fun when they start to really explore and find things that intrigue them!
